Out of interest...
« on: September 01, 2008, 18:26:55 PM »

What happened to the Foes 2:1 etc etc thread.

Left the machine for 10mins and it was gone. Did it dissolve in to name calling?

hmm i was looking at it aswell,
It looked like it was getting heated about something or other.

There was a scrap about V10s VS Foes. To do with them being tried and tested.

It ended in basic school girl name calling and hair pulling yes.

Its sad that some people have to devolve threads in to petty bickering.

Opinion is fine - but if someone asks you for evidence of your strongly worded opinions and you can respond without being childish and offensive then you shouldnt be allowed to post for a while.

I was challenging (Poss Thomas Owen) regarding his opinions as to whether he had actually had any basis for his opinion / had actually used the product as i have, next thing thread gets pulled.

Was just wondering what happened after my post.

(Mods if i can see the topic, if its been quarantined that is as opposed to deleted)

So basically, it got closed because your making out you've rode one when basically it was a friend of a friend who rode one....

Good one squire.

Yeah but you stated your opinion as fact pretty much, when you can only base your argument on what your mates told you.

I cant quote the exactly comment - however it was along the lines of 'it is wide known ' or 'is common knowledge' that x/y/z is true of foes bikes.

Also comments regarding the fact that 40's were superior to XTD forks with no evidence to support or anything to indicate that thios was opinion as opposed to scientific fact.

i never said anything other than my opinion and never said anything like 'it is wide known' all i said is i dont like em basically and that nowhere will be able to sort em out in the uk(curnutt shocks and forks).
And about the forks i never said they were better just that i would rather have 40's and that £2000 is a stupid money for forks which in my opinion arnt much better than 40's.

And you saying i've got no fact is stupid because i said it was my opinion.
