Is the BB7 noticeably different from the BB5?

I have a BB5 on my little bike, and considering getting something else (such as the BB7), as Ill get the brake working nicely (ie able to lock up), and then after a bit of riding, itll go naff (ie unable to lock up)...

Will a BB7 be any better?

Ive noticed a difference. Not only do the pad adjusters become useful, but there is greater "dead" stopping power with the bb7
