Secret Lines.
« on: September 03, 2008, 19:10:12 PM »

My latest downhill track.
Been building it over the last 3-4 weeks, and we've finally finished one of the sections. Its a steep mother, and my brakes do not approve.

Got up there a few days ago and it was the nicest weather I've seen in a long while.

Got up there today.. And it was s*it weather!

There's a few more on my Flickr but I reckon these are my fav's.

C+C if you will.
Thanks  Smiley

Personally I think that's a wicked set of photos - I know it sounds obvious, but the sunny ones look really sunny, and the wet one looks like a wet day.
Which sounds odd, but lots of photos don't seem to actually look like that.

Well the flash misfired on the last one so I think that helped  Wink Oh and I dropped the saturation quite a bit too.
Cheers for the comments.

Got back up here today, and it started pissing it down as soon as we got there. Typical!
Didn't have a great day on the photo front, but had a load of fun riding instead. (Managed a 35 sec on the moto trainer.. time to beat?  WinkCheesy)

Comments? Crit's?

Cheers, Ben.

Could you crop number 6 in the second set so its portrait instead of landscape. Would get rid of the unnappealing shrubbery and frame the rider nicely IMO?!
Some epic shots mate, keep it up.

Ha, funny you should say that. I spent quite a while playing with different crops on that shot, but settled for the landscape one due to the overcast above.
Might have another go tomorrow though.

Where's the track? Not asking exactly where cos it's secret obviously... lol Just the area.

Is it in S.Wales near Resolven up the hill near the mines? Pics looks familiar, as in the area not the track obviously!
