crank bros headset
« on: September 04, 2008, 08:56:38 AM »

Got some issues fitting my forks to my new frame as the steerer is a touch short so was looking at the lowest profile headset and stem combo.
I've found the crank bros headsets(dh version) have a stack of 21mm inc race, problem is they call it a directset-is this like a semi integrated headset or just normal? Hopefully its able to be fitted to a regular 1 1/8th headtube. So 1. will this fit and 2. does anyone know an even lower profile headset? Any help much appreciated.

Also low stack stems - i've found the tioga y force at 30mm,does anyone know of anything smaller?

Cheers.
