« on: September 07, 2008, 11:55:47 AM »

Is there any old retro bikers still out there??

Would like to mount a rear disc on my LTS what are my options?

The discs are the original formula ones ( rememeber the red levers?!!? )

some later lts had to holes in the rear drop out betd make a caliper mount that bolts to the holes

however if you dont have these holes you can buy an adaptor made by a2z it bolts to your frame an you mount the caliper to it

i sold my old lts to a mate an he upgraded to discs thats how i know

Give BETD/Goldtec a ring (01782 629462) as they are still doing quite a lot of work and servicing for LTS owners and are the most likely source of solutions and advice!

tbh even if you dont have the holes as standard id say you could use either of the above and just drill them somewhere suitable.
