As if there wasnt anyone entered who didn't know something like this was going to happen. You can screw being anywhere near Carlton Bank in the weather we've had lately even if it wasn't flooded!

A shame, but at least they've moved it to a great track. I'd be all for them using the same track again as round 2, but I'm sure they'll have something different, hopefully as good!

Si... tut tut "Yes full refunds for anyone, no problem.. Regards my job, it certainly ain't to drive up and down the country building tracks. If you think it is you must be smoking what happened to yours and is about to happen to everyone's Yeti: CRACK.."
I am disappointed at the attitude. For £90,000.00 plus outside sponsorship this aint the one. Further more the word is that Carlton Bank was cancelled because the BC would not allow a race on an unproven race track rather than due to poor weather as there is plent if drying time left...
Role on 09. With the same old tracks and the distinct possibility of £70 races, i am opting out for 2009 for sure.

The final round will be different track to the second round, don't ask cos I won't tell ya!
The official line is the finish field is to wet to get vehicles in or out, nothing to do with an unproven venue, the track dries really quickly, but the field does not. I can't believe I'm having to do this again after the Rugug race in 2007 got cancelled, the hard work or Mike, Ed and James have put into Carlton is something you should all pat them on the back for and its a real shame that we can't go there, but we will be going there in 2009
2009 will also be SPS events final year of running the NPS, the tender is up, so contact the BC if your interested.
