Just 2 landscapes i got today. needed to get out so took the dog for a walk and got some shots of the sun set and a nice view while i was there.

I like them, but for me the first is too visibly HDR. I think that with landscapes HDR needs to be more discreet. The second is a good picture, I just think the subject is lacking slightly, its almost boring? Its always good to have one subject in a landscape and some sort of lead in lines that draw you to it, makes the image pop more.

The composition on the first is brilliant IMO. Although I agree with LR regarding the HDR pp, the halo around the tree is really distracting and looks pretty over-done. Maybe reducing the radius would make it a little better, in that area anyway. The second is nice, but again, I agree that it lacks interest.
