canon 350d flash problem

my built in flash wont pop up it just vibrates then the battery went flat it said error 5 during the day but after turning it off then back on it worked maybe its just the battery ill try it later but any one else had the same problem

no it didn't work and its not a battery flat sign i think the bulb might have gone or something i don't know
