As I've been focussing on getting started in 6th Form and my Dad has been working in the US, we only found out last Sunday night that the NPS venue had changed. Email we can monitor, we can't monitor forums all the time.

My dad has to be in Madrid first thing Monday, I have an exam. Carlton Bank was just about do-able, Innerleithen will add about 3 hours to our trip so we can't go. A shame as I haven't done many events this year due to exams so I would have loved to have raced at Inners. More notice and dad could have changed his trip and I could have avoided the exam, but these things happen.

I don't know if the entry is still full, but if it is, I won't be taking up my entry. Please take my place and I might get some form of refund.

That was the first thing we did.

We contacted Steve (and Si) as soon as we found out the venue had changed. This was last Sunday night when we checked npsdh.com. Steve said no refund as it was under 7 days until the event. Shame an email wasn't sent out or we would have known immediately and could have acted way earlier.

Bottom line is that we won't be there, so if the entry is full somebody might be able to take my entry, subject to talking to Steve.
