Awesome, what were your reasons for getting the 300 over the 90? Not picking fault just curious might make the change some time soon my d50 is getting out classed quite quickly plus i always feel like a rem whenever anyone asks what camera i got (hate that question) and I'm like ooh its only a d50!

But at the end of the day its what you do with it which counts i suppose!

i went for the 300 based on spec.
4.5 fps compared to 6fps on the 300
11 autofocus points compared to 51 on the 300

Those were the two main points for me.
personally i value those two much more than a video mode. I know alot of people see it as a great advance, but I will wait until it improves more until i invest in the system. I have no use for video anyway.

There is very little between the two(apart from the price) but i had to follow my heart (cheesy or what?) and go with the camera i have wanted for ages. so it just had to be!

I am very happy with it, shots are crystal clear even at high ISO. its a great piece of equipment. Next up a wide angle lense  Wink

Awsome, haven't really looked at the 300 does it have a built in master mode for wireless flashes?! I know the d70 did not sure about the d90, I'm guessing they've reserved this feature for the higher end bodies!
