Photo upload site
« on: September 24, 2008, 09:43:29 AM »

I just returned back from travelling with a load of pretty decent pics, mainly cultural/social/people photography stuff.

I'm looking to get some feedback on them but I'm also hoping to post them onto a stock image site eventually, or if any are deamed good enough then I'll may try to sell them directly to a couple of travel mags or something.

So is there anywhere I can upload them to now to get some feedback, but without risking them losing any marketing potential in the future?

P.S. I've never sold a photo before or been taught anything about photography so I may be completely overrating myself Tongue but better safe than sorry...

you could put them up on flickr etc but that is seen by lots of people. i would say put them on there and if any are top dollar take them off and send them to a few places and then if there is no luck put them back up.

Thanks, that does seem like a good option.

I would really like to get some critique from the 'Fred Miranda' forums aswell but it costs to host images on his site.

Obviously I could post the links from Flickr, but ideally I'd like to use another free hosting site which doesn't have so many members so my pics wouldn't be seen by as many people, but I could still post the links onto the 'FM' forums.

Any suggestions?
