Determining Final Series Results
« on: September 24, 2008, 21:08:24 PM »

Checked out the Dragon DH Website and saw the points series,

In the near future we will be running a series at PORC, but i was wondering....if two riders are tied on points....how do they determine who wins....is it on greatest number of highest placed finishes? (e.g. more consistant rider)

And if that were drawn, how would it go on from there??

Cheers...hope it makes sense?!

the result at the final round normally decides it in the event of a tie.

Is certainly how they do it at the NPS, though conventionally in sporting events (F1 for exampel) it'd go to the person with the best finishes.  E.g. 1st/1st/10th beats 1st/3rd/4th (if those positions gave tied points).  If it was STILL a tie, then yeah, final round result is the easiest way of doing things.
