Fuji finepix s5700
« on: October 05, 2008, 20:46:52 PM »

Would it be alright as a starter camera?

Anyone had good/bad experiences with them?

Thanks  Smiley

Or to put it another way would it be a good buy for £60? inc. a 2GB card...

I don't know if there's anything else as good for that money Smiley

Yeah it is.  Smiley

I've slightly been converted now into looking for an old dslr, but I don't have too much to spend, so ill probly wait a while and have a look at all the options I have, Most lilly spend about £150 max.

why don't you get a plain emulsion SLR ?
you will always get better quality pics with one of them

i had this camera but had to sell it to feed the poor student. now i have the s1000 which as good as it is, i would prefer my old one as its pre settings made it much easier to use.

60 would be a bargain Smiley and for getting into photography you dont need anything more expensive, but hey if you find you love it then great you can get something better and yours should hold its price pretty well.

if you do get it let me know how it goes!!!!

Hey, I got it  Cheesy
I think it's pretty awesome to start me off into photography!

If i decide to take a-level photography then i think ill be upgrading as my mate will be selling his 450D next year  Smiley

But if not ill be happy keeping this one just for fun times  Smiley
It has great adjustments and I don't think iv'e even worked half of them out yet!
