try the E13 site they used to have a mini questioare, based on bike type, chain rings etc then would tell you what type of device will fit.
if you dont want an E13 just use the site to get an idea of the shape and fittings, then look into the brand you want. ive got a kona stab duluxe and run a race face diablo chain device, works a treat and never had a single problem with it. cheap, chearful and coupled with an MRP party crasher it works faultlessly. or the MRP G2 is simple as to set up and works very well if you want a single ring up front    Grin

If you want to run gears up front and a chain device, you need a dual ring device which allows you to run the smallest ring, the middle ring, and replaces the outer ring with a bash guard. E-13 call their dual ring chain device the "DRS" whilst MRP call theirs the "long range patrol". Both are excellent devices, it just comes down to which you would prefer on your bike when it comes to price, weight and looks. other products are available, such as Blackspire and DMR but i have no first hand experience with their dual ring devices.

how about these?

get one of these for the I-Drive, that will tension the chain and work with the bash ring to stop the chain coming off.

get one of these for the kona, and maybe get one for the I-Drive aswell, so youll have 2 complete packages that look and work great.

you just need to find out what mounting you have for fitting chain devices. ISCG, ISCG 05 or none. if you cant find out, then go for a BB mounted version as these will fit bikes with any type of mounting.

any of that help?
