Cheers mate just the kind of advice i was after, thing is about resting it, ive got rugby training tomorrow i really dont wanna miss and a game next week so ill try your tips to try and make it better for next week.

Personally i wouldnt recommend playing rugby with a pulled muscle in your hand.
To be honest youve got a choice.....
Its either
- rest it for atleast 2, maybe 3 weeks and be fine afterwards
or
- play rugby with it and risk injuring it more, therfore giving you atleast 5, maybe 6 weeks worth of pain and waiting for it to heel
if you play on it you can definatly bet yourself youl be missing more than one game, unlike if you went for the first option.
Its a tough choice to make as i can understand youd like to play rugby but its really not in your best interest
