Seb you have to understand porc is very grass roots so you dont get even 100 riders in the whole race. However dont let that put you off, the racing is intense and because the track is only a minute long the times are very close and the locals know the tracks so well... on top of that you also have some top riders who live down south who use it for trainning.  hope you enjoy Wink

Oh aye I know, I was just curious whether we're talking 20 riders or 80 riders Smiley  I'm sure it'll be a laugh however few are there.  I like that it's 90 mins away instead of the 3hrs I normally drive, and that it's only £10 or whatever to enter.  I used to ride PORC loads when I was at uni in london so it'll be a nice trip down memory lane too Smiley

Max entries was 112.  When ever i've run races we have always had 70plus.

Yes, tracks are around 50 to 60secs....lets remember we're on a hill......not a mountain

The locals do know the tracks well.....same as the valley kids know the welsh tracks better than anybody....but in the spirit of fairness we try to put out a race track that isnt regularly used, only taped 2wks before the race at max!.

These races are indeed popular with those who want to get into racing....but lets not forget...the major point which every forgets....THEY'RE FUN!  Spend a sunday doing what you enjoy with like-minded people!!!

Seb - Senior generally brings 20-35ish riders.  Some of a fairly useful standard...incuding Olie Burton, Hatch, Lee Huskinson, all of which you'll see at dragons/nationals.

Cheers
