Fitting orange swingarm
« on: October 07, 2008, 18:38:42 PM »

Evening all,

Need to fit a swingarm to a patriot. Is it just a case of laying the swingarm on and pushing the bearings on to the lugs whilst also pushing them into the swingarm?

Cheers.

Pretty much.  Not the easiest job in the world I'm afraid.  Just be sure to use a good grease at the contact surfaces to save yourself all kinds of hell next time!

Try the search, theres been quite a few threads about this. And its not as simple as pushing on them.

Pushed/tapped them in with a mate who is an engineer. worked pretty well. Was a lot easier than getting the swingarm off.
