Try just riding along, they sometimes have stock where others fail.

minions aren't a great winter tyre, they tend to clog up in the mud.

my favorites are michelin comp 16s, hard to find though and slow rolling on the flat, not that that slows you down once you're going downhill.

if it's really muddy get some swamp things.

Ive found little change from high rollers to swampthings.
Wetscreams however are very very very good. And in stock as 2.2 and 2.5 at CRC.

Woah, we had a huge delivery of at least 10 swampthings, 10 rollers and 5 or 6 minions a few days ago at work, all in 2.35 and both compounds.

OK so its not just me that is having difficulty sourcing the Maxxis tyres I want!

Maxxis seem to be really pants at the minute, no one has stock! What's the deal??

May have something to do with the price of rubber going through the roof.
