so do u need to get as many as u can in a year and then they go away, or do they keep building up, year after year after year....?
As far as I'm aware, they last a year from the date you get them. You need 5 to race NPS (though I heard they were changing this to 10 for 2009).
The thing is, there's no Southern or South West series that gives points at present, and now with the loss of the Dragon series too, the closest series for Southerners to get points in Pearce in the Midlands (wich although a great series is a long way from most of us).
how do these points work? why would u want them? i know u need 5 to go to the nps series or somthing but why do u need more? cheers
so you can race in wordcups!! shabang!!
You can't race WC's with BCF points. You need UCI points - very different kettle of fish...
BCF points go to top 15 (I think) at any UK races which apply for BCF points and the BCF then approve. UCI points go to top 15 overall at the few races which have them (NPS 2,3 and 4 and the National Championships - thats it unless you go to Ireland I think)

Freeriders are just downhillers who can't ride fast...
points are gash i reckon and they should make a series called noit for pussy's!!
a series where you dont need a liscense you ride at your own risk and if you f**k urself tuff s**t you better get scooting to the local hostpital.
pay and ride on the day winner takes all prize money, why be awarded for being first loser that aint nowt to be braging about, you still lost there will only ever be one winner! hence winner not winners!
proper tracks/no bull and no panseys as theer soon get pi**ed of with the f**k it attitude.

Good news that the South has a series which carries points.
Can any one confirm that the series will be a Category E event (30 for a win) or will it be the new Category F (15 for a win).
i spoke to a BC official on the web and he said its category E, but u need a licience to pick up the points ffs. i would have had over 60 so i can get 2 the nps next year, but ill have to do well in this winter series!!
