Presuming this thread will be moved...

Owned one for a year. Ran it with Totem's in the end. Full build was 33.5lb as a DH/play bike (but I had fairly tasty bits on it). Out of the box they are about 34lb. Pedals very well, and rails corners. Good standover. Much better with a DHX Coil fitted - air wasn't good enough in terms of rebound/compression tuning. The bike is slacker than you'd think for an 'all rounder'. 160mm forks on it or adjustable ones and it climbs well.

Run a search - there's been a few posts about these. Also lots of reviews around the net which will give a more balanced and lengthier opinion on.

i've got an 07 x1, they are very good bikes.

They can be build rather light with the right kit, eg i could easily save a pound if i swaped the stock raceface ride dh cranks to slx's. They climb ok, when your in the saddle, obviously would be better with an air shock/one with propedal, rather than a coil dhx3. However they are very good on the down, really nice low CoG. If your into more xc sorta stuff rather than dhy am then i would go for a reign.

I did a 45 mile xc ride on mine when i first got it (though i did only have 9 gears) i was fine, was hard work but i was fine. I use mine for up the local dh, with an 8 mile round trip to get there and back and get on with it fine, and climb all of the hill to get home (some are quite steep).

They seem to be rather strong though, i chainrings a big double up the woods, snaping my ex721 rim, but the frame was fine.

If your in the plymouth area feel free to have a ride on mine.
