« on: October 09, 2008, 08:29:01 AM »

I searched the forum but couldn't really find anything. I'm curious on how you lower the 409's. i heard you need to buy a spacer and put it in? is this correct can someone tell me where i could purchase one of these from. If not whats the best way to go about this. Thanks

hi matey

yep all you need is an arglye solo air 20mm spacer availible to order from any rockshox/fisher dealer.

if you look on the sram website and click on service, then service guide and find the relevant section for your fork they have step by step instructions and pictures to go with it.

if you have had the forks for a lil while now i would say get them sent off for a service and get the service center to do the travel change for you at the same time

Not sure if its any relevance, but I lowered my 318 Argyles using a spacer made from an old bit of metal pipe I found in the garage...
