October Half Term Daytime Riding
« on: October 13, 2008, 19:59:21 PM »

Hello All

Another quick bit of news from Aston Hill which is great if
(A) you are still at school and wondering what to do this October or
(B) you are bored at work and have either too many days holiday or too many unused excuses to take a "sickie"

....Aston Hill will be open over the October half term for 3 days.

Based on last weekends great weather I think we could be in for a late summer so unpack your shorts pop on the "dry" tyres and head over on the following days for 9.00 - 5.00 riding Aston Hill style.

Tuesday 28th
Thursday 30th
Friday 31st

Come on up. you know you want to.

ASTON HILL BIKE PARK

See you all up there, Ben.

No more than swamp things ever at Aston.  I've never seen the need for anything other than michelin 16's up there...it never gets particularly boggy, and proper mud tyres would hate the chalk.

As Rootes said, Aston is mostly hard pack spikes will just hold you up above ground and youll be off, some of the new bits may warrant mud sheding tyres to get into the soil but high rollers and youll be fine, never used anything else.

Time for a plug, I will be up aston in the weeks to come to get photos for my portfolio so if you see me in a PS Cycles T shirt come ride for me! ( not this weekend unfortunatly) Wink

Pete mate when have you gotta get your shots done by?

I'd be more than happy to do a day sectioning for the camera if you still need photo's in mid December when I get back from the North East for Christmas.
