checked your bearings?

I've started to use SKF bearings now in everything, they're decent quality industrial bearings.

i bet most manufacturers dump sh*t ones...

drop the wheel out mate and have a feel of the bearings they should feel smooth and have no side to side play in them

if there damaged take it back and have a word if they won't do owt new bearings are cheap enough less than a tenner i think

they easy to knock out and just make sure you tap the new ones in straight. can't go wrong mate.

I got some SKF bearings from a random online shop for about £2 each!

The bearing number will be on the side. Looked at mine last night, think they were 6802 RS ()RS means to rubber seals)

No man, it's a 2 minute job.

Get a screwdriver and pop the clip out that holds the cups in. poke something through to the back of the other bearing and tap it out.

press the new ones in... i personally love a nice rubber mallet!!!  Grin

you can get the bearings off ebay for a couple of quid. can't remember the number off the top of my head but it'll be something like this...

Is it me, or is this problem become very frequent amongst pro2s?

yeah, buy quality brands only, otherwise you'll just hit the same problem again.

If you're unsure phone your local bearing supplies distributor- Wyko, BSL, Hayley, etc. they'll be able to help. You'll need to know the bearing number and they'll advise on brands.
