I snapped my collar bone in two racing the Black Run at Aston Hill a week last Sunday, this is the 4th time I've broken my collar bone Angry

Took a pic of the x-ray with my phone, hence not the best quality pic.

Did a proper job this time no half measures, hurts like hell!  Evil

recovery time for me was 6weeks, but i rode very cautiousley at 5 weeks and all was feeling good at about 8 weeks and i could ride properly then, but remember every case is different, your bones may heal slower than mine and your break could be worse so it's alot down to you, i'd go sensible and don't ride, i tried to ride to work in the 4th week and pulled up a curb, the front wheel went up without any pain but when i tried to pull the back wheel up IT HURT LIKE HELL Angry Angry,

try not to ride, it is very hard but contain yourrself
