broke mine this afternoon in two places tweaking off a 20ft stepdown but not getting my front wheel straight enough. forks were too soft so they dived and i took a digger.
mine's broken in 2 places - i looked on the x-ray and it's just carnage, broken ends pointing all over the place. looks like i'm going to sleep really well. will hopefully get a photo of the x-ray at the fracture clinic tomorrow morning...

good luck, sounds nasty, mine wasn't too bad a break but in two places you may have to have pins, get into the paracetemol it helps but only a little, as jamie said the first two weaks are painful as hell>>>

yeah i'm munching on co-dydramol and nurofen. there's like the two bones pointing diagonally across each other with a small pointy bit of bone pointing vertically and just chilling next to where the other two bones cross - should be a nice old lump! the consultant said that about 2 in 100 clavicle fractures need to have surgery and didn't think mine needed it. he laughed when i said i was mountain biking.  Evil.

mines been done 6-7 weeks now n it feels almost as good as new. Just strength got to get back. But every now and then i go too far n it kills. Dr said i should give it till end of october before doing any sport, bit of a bummer, but then again i dont want to go out too soon n break it again. Mine was a bad break

I did mine about  3 weeks ago and also came up short on a double, the bone snapped clean in two and i had a big lump where the bone was sticking into my skin, after my operation the doctor said that the bone was extremely to peiercing the skin, (as there was a cut on top of the bump), and the bone tore through my shoulder muscle, and i will now have a semi numb shoulder for ever because it also damged the nerves  Angry
