Does that mean that it has some mud on it now?  Daft question it may seem - but, it has been a bare of mud for a couple of weeks.  And it must have taken a fair few shovel loads to fill that berm up!

I wish that we didn't have to work, just play all day

Yeah its got some mud on it now,

and lots and lots of rocks inside it, and a trench full of gravel under it. To keep things nice n dry Smiley

And yes, it was ALOT of shovel and wheelbarrow loads. More than i care to remember, but it was worth it!
Like i said, it needs a bit of tweaking, just to get the line / curve correct.
That means it needs testing to eh!  Wink
It needs to bed in also, you can only get it so hard by stamping on it.

see you sundeeeeeeee

Anyone know what's going on with the rocks and wooden posts that have appeared on the trail and the drop-off?

When we were up there last week we dug a rain channel across the front of the drop off, the rain water had been carving the landing area to bits since there's no vegetation on it anymore.
We lined that with rocks and some gravel type stuff, so that could be what your refering to?

Are there rocks elsewhere also?

The wooden post were put there just to stop the rain water gulley thing getting messed up before it dried out up there a bit. We were practically swimming up there last week, the ground was so soft!

We're going to do some work on the drop tommorow also, so it served to suggest that the drop is off limits for a bit. Only until we get the down ramp on it, i hasten to add.
So it should be up and running again tommorow.
We are going to finish off that section os NS onthe XC track also.

You coming along?

Hi Al,

Not sure where the rocks are, as its Arron who's let me know about them - he went up there today and just let us know as we are planning to go up tomorrow.  So see you then.  Glad you thought of the rain gulley, i attempted to dig out a channel down the side of the landing - which obviously didn't work!

See you tomorrow
