Hi im at exter uni, and whilst lying in my student digs on Friday, saw a dodgey looking guy riding what i think was a dark hard tail with newish looking white 66's. He was with a guy who was on a blue OLD xc bike.
I the guy on the xc bike is a tramp and the other guy looked like a bum too.
I live near the football ground.

I thought that I would share a few pictures of the new, long awaited red run Grin. Which should hopefully be open by the weekend, we're just waiting on an engineer to sign it off. Grin
Unfortunatly I only managed to get a few off before the battery ran out.

Is this new red run the run with the shoulder height berms (or there abouts?)

I walked up it the other week (or what i thought to be the new run) and it looks insane.

Whats the state of the North shore by the freeride area?

No not open yet, the engineer did not look at it this week, but i don't think it's going to stop people riding it, it didn't seem to when we were trying to build the thing(hint, hint).
A BIG WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED ON THE NEW SECTION, we finished it off last sunday and tested it out  and I've got to say YOU'VE DONE A GREAT JOB.
The shore in the free ride is coming on slowly. Just plodding on with it.

On a personal level i feel the amount of abuse i am receiving over my new gentleman's haircut is unjust, this is not the first time my hair has been trimmed down to a more suitable and manageable length, in fact i have been cutting to this length on and off now for over 10 years but on reflection  this latest cut has it has opened my eyes to the need of hair of a longer length, not because of the abuse and mental scaring  i have under taken for this, oh no no. No it is because i have realised how f***ing cold my head has been on site. So hats off to all the baldies out there (well not until May anyway) i salute you.

Sorry it took a while to get back to you - the new red run has been approved and is ready to go Smiley

We've also managed to get the dirt jumps in a near to finished state, just need to see how they're faring after a few weeks. And on top of all that, we've made good headway on the new section of shore in the freeride area.

I'm going to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and assume it's just a coincidence that we start making progress as soon as I start going up the hill again. :p
