Done mine plenty of times riding BMX years ago, but my worst was running down a grass bank into an open car park. What I thought was a white line painted on the concrete was in fact a shin high rail, which I tw*ted at full speed.
Still got the scars to remind me and I wasn't even drunk

Shin-burgers are the most anoying injuries their are. First time i rode my A-line i managed to slip a pedal and cut my leg so deep u could see the bone... 16 stitches for me...
I too now enjoy the non shining ability that spuds have..
also when i was transfering from the XC side to DH and freeride. i managed to stack the XC bike and insert the main big ring on the 3 ring crank into my carf.... it was in so deep i could actually pick the bikes rear end up without using my hands!!! mind you , it wasn't clever as it kaned like hell and it only stayed in my leg for that trick as i then got cramp and it locked the ring firmly in place......
hahahaha, that made me cringe and laugh out loud at the same time

don't want your shiny frame to be made worthless and unshiny by chain rub and other such evils? bike tape is your friend! www.biketape.co.uk - buy some now; your frame will love you for it.
I was doing a bit of trials some years back and got a DX pedal in my shin... the pedal snapped and one of the pins is still in my shin. Couldnt get it out so its still there... I was told it might work its way out but its been a while now and nothing yet lol
Steve.
Cant you just unscrew it? sounds very nasty though

I rode. I rode until my muscels burned and my viens pumped battery acid, then I rode some more.
