Just had a lucky escape putting some random stuff up into my loft ( I know this is'nt bike related, but hey...) was stood on the 2nd from top step on my 2year-old stepladder, when suddenly, the b*stard

Collapsed!

luckly missed the bannister rail, felt it whistle past the back of my head , only injuries grazes & bruises to my back, legs, and arm...very lucky!!

Also missed the oppertunity(damn!) to go over the bannister & fall 12foot-odd down the stairs...

One off the legs had bent at 45 deg, I wasnt twisting or nowt, just dissappeared from under me!!

Not recommended!!

Needed a drink after that one, was sweating like Gary Glitter...

was just thinking the other day while getting out the loft "If this was to fall over, I would seriously hurt meself..." then had one of those having a nightmare moments when it actually happened!!
While falling thro the air, the only thing I thought of was that of all the dodgy stupid stuff I've ever done on a bike, I was about to die putting stuff into my loft....how crap!

Have got a big yellow/purple bruise on the side of my upper leg the size of a saucer, is well sore!!
Those funny pads on the sides of the legs of dainese suits...


They're for falling off ladders onto...

I wish i was getting my Scalextric down.
I havent played with it for ages, and i've got all my Dads 40+ year old stuff inc cars, track, pits, buildings & people.
Strange how Scalextric brings out the kid in every guy i know

Scalextric is ace, we had a sunday pub lunch session a couple of years back and after a few ales we decided we could just make Toys R Us before closing time and pretty much bought every last bit of track they had and had a lovely 6 lane set up.
