Your best upgrade to an X-Vert carbon would be to replace the internals with a stronger cheese. I would reccomened replacing the Wenslydale lower legs with some Catherdral City Cheddar.

Possibly, you could remove all the plastic, melt it down and build as small palace out of it.

And or, buy some Marzocchi's.




On a more serious note, Gonch is pretty much correct about the interals. There is not much you can do to them.. Service them or get them serviced, and then give them TLC. Keep your eye on the Carbon brace, too. They tend to crack and fail.
