Check the cassette is tight, sounds funny but my patriot was a noisy f**ker, turned out the frigging cassette was loose!!  Oops...  Now I have sram kit too so it's alot quieter...

Something about the expanding foam...  What happens if you want to get it powdercoated and they put it in the oven to harden, won't it catch fire?

gotta be careful with the foam, if you use too much it can damage the frame, as it trys to expand too much.

Yes, I never thought about having it baked when its powdercoated . That could be interesting, it was easy enough to do, 1 litre can of the foam will expand up to 1 metre square, so I only needed a little bit, I ran some plastic tube (heat shrink ) through the swingarm with goodridge hose through both sides to stop it getting crushed when the foam expanded and now it's nice an quiet, it used to drive mee mad

thinking about the powder coating deal, im probably completely wrong and it wouldnt surprise me if i am, but couldnt you use some kind of solvent to eat through the foam, like super glue does to polystyrene? things like petrol and other eat through some plastics and paint so would it work with the foam
