theyre great for the sheer novelty and obviously at that price, you wont be making a loss if you chose to sell them on

I've got a set of 06 Vanilla RLC's (same as R but with more adjustment) on my sub 5 which feel damn good. They were plush as hell straight out the box and are so light compared to other forks in this price bracket. I would recommend a set of them any day.

Don't you need a 1.5 headtube to fit a lefty??

Id go for pikes... but thats because ive used them for a year and not had a single problem  Wink theyre stiff, reasonably light, strong and plush as anything. QR's a step down in strength and stiffness

I loved the pikes i had on Curtis martin, plush as...

Dorado SC's i have on the curtis now are good, wasnt a manitou fan until i got my dorado's definatly nice!!!

Preferance i guess, best to have a shot on some pikes see what you think of them.

was thinking about the pikes archie, but the novelty of the lefty is still pulling me towards that.  Roll Eyes

had a blast on some pikes and they feel ok.

and the lefty's can be converted to fit normal frames so thats another reason i'm swaying towards that

why not some 66's?

if you've had no problems with marz already why not stay with the brand but change the fork?

a set of 66's on the dudu would make it like a chopper. plus its a bit to much travel for what i do. only running 125mm out back so dont want much more than that up front

by sounds of things pikes would be cool, or some shermans, but as you said at start, leftys do have a certain appeal, so go for it(if youcan get the steerer conversion)
