DT swiss are amazing! you got a bolt through rear end? If not look at tune! lightest DH hubs

Also look at Sapin CX ray spokes lightest ones on market and one of the strongest

EDIT: Just seen full title,:-D look at the tune front and a proII rear?

they do a hugi for nearly every size and shape.
look at magura hubs too as they are rebadged dt swiss hubs yet somehow cheaper!
to shave just a little bit more you could go for alu nipples and triple butts.

sapim spoke, hope pro II (if they do them in that size) on 823

just to add onto that the spokes would be sapim x-rays but will cost you a wallet load.

just though even lighter though.

sapim spokes, hope pro II 28 hole (if the do them in 150) on deemax. ti rotor bolts, ti rotor, ti cassette i supose to

[edit] just looked they do a 150 rear but doesn't say anything about drillings.

My brother has a DT Swiss front hub on an EX 823 with DT spokes and it is extremely light. Very strong too.

whygo as low as a 28 (if they actually do them) the sacrifice of strength over 4 spokes is probably barely worth it and using all the other lightweight parts you mentioned i'd assume the wheels would be pretty light anyway!
how much have you got to spend on these wheels anyway?

How about something different:

Bontrager King Earl Wheelset - ZR9000 alloy rims and Carbon/Alloy hubs - Light Strong and pretty darn good value.

Available in all sizes of hub

I just got a set for my Jackal and they look pimping (you can take off the Bonty rim stickers if you are a slave and scared to rock the Bontrager brand.
