chain tension on horizontal dropouts
« on: December 23, 2005, 15:52:15 PM »

hi all,
im having a load of bother with my chain tension on my ht.... every time i tighten the chain tugs they only go up to a certain point and they stop working...(obviously becasue the chain is too loose).. but if i remove a whole link to make the chain shorter... it's too much and the tyre is stuck against the frame....

would a halflink chain work?
would a halflink chain work with a bmx chainring?

cheers jack

Whats you're chainring and current chain? If you're running a BMX chain then just get one half-link, no need to buy a whole new chain.
