But I'm guessing his wife does his laundry and cooks his meals, so it kinda evens out.  Roll Eyes
Is it too late to change that to Brendan Fairclough?  Embarrassed

*Ghost* how old are you again mate?  I think we've all been at the age at somepoint where we're adamant we'll never get married, have kids, yada yada, then we discover girls  Wink and it all goes tits up so to speak, have fun, but dont rule things out just yet.

What you're suggesting is possible, but if you neglect everything else, if it doesnt work, you'll have sweet bugger all, and be regretting it for the rest of your life.

I'm seventeen next month, and don't worry, I've already 'discovered girls' so to speak  Roll Eyes I just don't really believe in marriage and never have don. I'm not religious and if i ever were to find a girl I wouldn't need ceremonies or rings to show my commitment.
I'm not at the stage where I'm going to neglect everything else in my life, I still see the importance of socialising, friends and family and suchlike. But for me socialising is riding or digging trails, which are about twenty feet away from my front doorstep, so my family are actively involved in my riding (whether they have a choice or not  Tongue) And rather than seeing being able to drive, which I will be soon, as a new gateway to independence and freedom as most teenagers do, I just see it as a way to get me and my bike to downhill tracks whenever I can't get a lift with someone else.
I haven't neglected the other aspects of my life and hopefully never will, but no matter what I do, I can always trace them back to riding in one form or another, because riding is my life, it's what I do, and everything else just goes hand in hand with it.

Yeah, the only problem is having the time and transport to get to those mountains, two problems which hopefully will be eradicated once I've learnt to drive, as I can then reduce my hours at work cos I won't need as much money.

Yeah, surely there isn't a better way to show your love for a girl than to share the one possession you treasure and cherish the most?

No, not down there. Your bike I'm talking about. Any useless muppet can buy rings and flowers and chocolates and say 'I do', and there's no real guarantee that there's any emotion or feeling behind any of these actions. But sharing a downhill bike? That's devotion.  Wink
