Hey just thought i would post this up because it has to be one of the stupidest bike releated (in a way) injuries there is. While making northshore my mate he managed to miss the nail with the hammer and as he was hitting under arm carried the swing through smaking himself square on the forehead i couldn't stop laughing although with a little bit of concern for him. Has anyone else got any stupid bike related injuries?

ok im going to get abused for this but, on my m8s trials bike just sitting on it front wheel in the air legs on the floor, i though, i can crank flip this, hahaha no i couldnt the seat was to low ended up goin off the back.
erm thinking....
i love the way you do some wickid crazy like totally amazing *ha* bike thing like jump a set of steps then go to turn and fall of the bike.

my mate shack *sorry man*
their is a double set of set in the town centre, st johns, in liverpool me and courty race down leaving shack at the top. crowd amazed by our sliky skills start to cheer shack on to do it, 10 mins later he was like oooo im not sure me and courty just waiting at the bottom, well he finally get the courage to do it, then as soon as he gets to the bottom some kid runs by him and he anchors on, the front brake, haha goes straight over everybody was laughing,

again shack, riding into town along the prom, at the back with gee, we (the other 5) hear something look back and shacks on the floor with the bike ontop of him haha, when questioned about the fall after the laughter stopped, he said he simply wasnt thinking and just let go of the bike!!

quack -  the 25 foot jump on his ht, haha mid air his grip comes off, hes ok like but he jumps straight up and goes noooo ive got to get home my mum will know ive been to the dirt jumps and im not allowed haha

i rode into a tennis net post fractured my wrist, that was halirious..

i actually have another good story about one of my mates who isn't a biker. he hadn't done his front wheel up properly and wheelied of a kerb obviously the wheel came off making him face plant over his bars

Ohh well... you'll laugh at this, first time about a year ago now up the new trails... as stupid as i was, thinking to be a show off hitting a lip sent me sailing through the air... "Noooo joeeelll", using the 20foot cliff face as a landing... through a couple of trees and onto a bed of rocks... breaking my toe, spraining my wrist and an inch gash on my head (Wear a helmet, plzzz)

I get straight back up and shout up to the crowd that im fine and dandy...

Two:

When I was young, I walked along the top of the n shaped metal things to lock you bike too...I lost balance and went down fowards landing on one of the bars with my teeth, breaking the front two clean in half. Pain.

The second time, only last year, I was getting the bike rack out of the car, a bungee got caught and then released itself springing up into my mouth and knocking the bottom of a front tooth off (a bit that the dentist had put there from breaking them the first time

ha! I had one when I was riding with a mate of mine on the pavement (ooh naughty) and going onto the road looked right looked left to see my mate on the floor! Was priceless!

Only the other night my mate brought some floodlights round that he'd got for christmas, so we can session the trails and berms ive got in my yard  So I borrowed his old hanging dmr and did three berms in a row, but the light didnt shine that far so I hit a rock, the bike went sideways into the floor and i hit my forehead square on the end of the handlebar, hard.
No bar end plugs = blood all over my face and two days later I look like a Buddha.
