I've had some really stupid crashes. One day a few mates and myself went to ride a bit of singletrack, nothing to tricky just a little rooty, I decided to go first and put down the power, I was absoloutly pinning it into the first corner when all of a sudden I felt like I'd stepped on a land mine and the bike was going all squirly...I manged to bring it to a stop and realised I'd his a small tree stump full on bending a dmr v8 and my truvative hussefelt cranks...this is my toe the day after http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/?op=view&image=726241Then about a week and a half ago I was riding Cwmcarn, I hit every jump on the bottom section no problem...then decided to go get something to eat..as many of you will know theres a small path down to the car park from the visitor centre and half way down that theres a small rock and a funny little turn, instead of taking the turn I bunny hopped the rock, landed, the mud caused me to slide on to the even slippier wooden border that runs down the side of the path, in the meantime I noticed i was heading towards a group of xc riders completely out of control, then the bike made a final sideways turn, I threw my right hand off anf the bike got completely wedged in the wooden fencing taking out some of the fence and some of my shifter, It was wedged so hard it took 2 of us to get it out but everyone who walked by got a damn good laugh.
