Does anyone know of any good tuning places? ive been told to go to tim flooks? is he anygood and how much will it cost..

Does it need tuning or a simple service? if it's a case of stripping it, cleaning it up and changing oil then you can probably do it yourself, you don't need any fancy tools... Servicing a fork just requires you to take your time read up first and think the whole process through...

Tim Flooks is only in business because people are too lazy/stupid to do basic maintainance on their own forks, MTB suspension does not involve magic or lasers I don't know why people are so scared of servicing their own forks!!!

because if people have a lack of expieriance in simple maintenance or more technical things they'll be affraid of breaking their forks and would rather an expierianced person did it for them

Well if people don't know how to do "technical things" they should bloody well learn!!!

Ignorance is no defence and to be honest, you should try and learn how your bike works, you never know when a bit of knowledge will help you out of a jam...
TF tuned do do some useful work I'm sure, but I reckon a good chunk of their time is probably spent doing stunningly simple jobs for thickies who'd have trouble telling their arse from their elbow...
