16 on front 24 on rear, thats what I run at least (I think), The 24 is the one with more rectangular blocks, and the 16 resembles a highroller.

remember to run the front 16 the oposite way to what the tread direction indicates  Wink

i used to run 16s front and rear but since getting my tubless wheels and neither of them wanting to seat i bought a new high roller ust for the front and put a comp24 i had that did seal on the rear, very very impressed, they clog up a tad in sticky stuff but they grip really well and once they probably start to slide before the 16s would be are far more controlable than 16s when they do start to drift.

16 rear can be sketchy under power in the dry (few months yet for that  :'().  I quite like 16 front and 24 back in the dry (UK).  16 seems to work well on the rear on rocky surface (alps) but gets ripped up badly.  For slightly damp you can't go wrong with 16 both ends.

On the rear yes, on the front possibly.

The shape of the knobs helps them to actually dig in on the rear when run backwards. It does mean they rip up faster in dry conditions though.

hmm well ive looked and the outer knobs would stay the same shape no matter which way you run it and the ones in the middle act like small scoops when its the right way not the opposite?

yes, they become almost useless in mud the normal way, particularly under braking.

i did, however, get a bolocking from a swiss guy for doing this, really made my day.  Grin

the rear tends to lose the knobs when run the high roller way round.
nice on the front though
