get some names together and check them out and just dont stick to one particular type of track, instrumentals with not too much going on in them are usually the first to fit somewhere in your flick but just basically try everything you come across, if you're listening to something sometime you'll get them

its good to listen to something aggressive when riding.

as a veteran dh mtb filmmaker i can say:

it depends what feel you want for your film!

If you want to go for the more Earthed style you want 80s punk and maybe the odd 80s pop etc. these go really well with racing and dh trails.

if its more freeridey id suggest instrumental hip hop or maybe hard rock music.

if your going for street, drum n bass works as well as hip hop etc.

And most importantly: dont use songs from any previous mtb films, i would suggest looking at the band names from dvds and researching other titles from them if you like them. just make sure the track fits with the pace of riding, you can always tell if a song is too fast or slow for the riding and then it just looks pants! anything will go as long as you edit the video to suit the music!

Hope that helped and good luck with the vid! Wink
