Fat, unskilled and proud.

I have a few local bike shops I use, mainly for ordering frames, forks, fitting fiddly parts... that sort of thing. I've been using them for ages, and they have even encouraged me to do jobs myself from time to time, (even if I haven't bought the parts from them.) The thing is, most bike shops employ riders who love the sport, so are filled with genuine people who have a passion for what they do, and have loads of tips on riding spots and maintenance. I even got told to buy Dot 4 fluid from a hardware store over the official Hayes stuff, because they're practically the same, saving me
