awesome!
i go walking and climbing in snowdonia all the time, and i always find myself on the top of the glyders thinking how much biking you could do in and around the area, especially llanberis quarries.
that would be absolutly fantastic if it goes ahead!

well they've been talking about that for years and years. agreed snowdonia is ripe for downhill, it's amazing how there aren't any tracks there. i don't know about trying to ride on the glyders though that sounds like complete death to me, so rocky and steep...fun kind of death i suppose!

Woah!

I live about 40mins away from Llanberis - god that'll be sweet if it goes ahead!  I heard rumours about it from Energy Cycles, Llanberis (RIP) a couple of years back, but since then all had gone quiet and I'd assumed that the idea had been dropped.  They were saying things along the lines of a WC standard DH track and Freeride park - with a lift.

Here's to it  Smiley

Yeah, there is some serious potential there.  It was featured on the local BBC news a few minutes back, it appears to be in competition with a downhill snow-dome type thing, so lets just hope that the 'mini-whistler' centre is opened, eh?
