mpg 4??

hey i film using my fone and when i tried putting it into windows media player it wouldnt work. i cant understand why. its says its mpg 4 or something i think its got to be converted to the right file to be used in media player. could you help me out?  Wink

Yes

lol, try downloading another media player (DivX QuickTime RealPlayer) one of those will play mpeg4 files, also you could google search for a .mp4 converter. Theres loads about and most are free with limits, best ones are the 5mins limit.

VLC Media player. Will play pretty much anything that has a video somewhere in it.

The two free converters are by xilisoft or imtoo, they decode the sound at a slightly different rate but aslong as the vid is short it should be un-noticeable,

Quciktime should play them as they are, if you have the latest version.

they look poor on the computer though, check my engoedidee vid the video 0035 one is converted off my phone!

cheers guys it worked, i downloaded a converter and the videos came ut fine but as you say losing some of the qaulity and the sound. cheers for the help much apreciated as this has been troubling me since i got the fone (before christmas)

you could just download the codec that would allow windows media player to play mpg 4

Best media player in the world. Comes with pretty much EVERY video codec out there. I've yet to find something that wont work on it....... (well within reason...)
