where can i get a NOISY single speed freewheel from. so it sounds like the hope hubs. i have a shimano one at the moment and its not that loud cheers jay

yeah, mate just got some single speed hub, he says its nice and loud, cant remember what he said it was. profile racing i think are loud, 24/7 hubs are not (well mine isnt) and my hope bulb on my other ride has a nice tick. im obsessed with that sound Grin i'll find out what my mates new hub is for you. fred.

I thinks he is after a freewheel that screws onto a bmx type hub, if so, they are all pretty quiet tbh. However if im wrong, proflie and chris king are the loudest ss hubs out there.

Loud freewheels, there is one company ACS! before fitting blast it bigtime with GT85 as they put too much greese in it! and that will sort you they are the strongest more reliable and loudest! The 'claw' is there best model

My one on my Revell is close to the noise of the profile hub on my BMX and my hope hubs i've got on my demo now and as loud as my old ringles. And its a new freewheel it will only get louder!

Agreed get an acs claw one, if you kain it with a can of lube there really loud, I run one on my rhythm I love it when im out riding on the road somewhere and pedal backwards behind someone scares the life out of them!   Grin

if you want noise put a zip tie round you frame and poke it through the spokes, much cheaper than the profile Wink
