Which Frame - Azonic, Giant or Specialized

Having snapped my Ellsworth at the weekend  :'( I now have a quandry.

I have the option of going for an Azonic Eliminator, Giant Dh Team or Specialized Big Hit.  All bikes end up at roughly the same cost, but I have no experience of any of them.

Which one would be best?  By the way I have short legs which is putting me off the Giant.

I'd go for the giant, get a small one, they are awesome race bikes.

what about the sizing.  My legs are only something like 28", so at 18.5" for the DH team + BB height they look line they're going to be on the large side for me.

have any other short arses ridden the DH team

The DH team doesn't only come in 18.5" they do 16.5" which is the small frame and they come up tiny.

Unfortunately I'm stuck with buying secondhand, and the frame I've been offered is the medium 18.5" 03 version.

I think the choice is between the Azonic and the Giant at the moment

If you can hang on and find a small giant that would be my personal best choice. After riding both.

But the bighit is a fine frame and would do anyone well just some people are abit snoby about them.

yea that giant dh looks nice but get the small one.  other wise have a look at the azonic eliminator

Just gone from a Big Hit to a Dh Team and it's a LOT better ride, heavier but rides better.

I'm 5'10" and the smalls slightly too short for me

Thanks for your help guys.

I think I'm pretty set on the Giant, as I have a deal to include a 12mm bolt through rear wheel for the same price as the Azonic.

According to the Giant website, the sizing between the Medium AC & DH team isn't a million miles off, so I'm going to have a spin on my sons AC Team tonight to see what it feels like.

Too late they have all been sold as I have already gone down that path trying to find an 05, they are very rare new or second hand.
