Okay i had one. I also own a BB7 at the moment.
The Tomac Lawill is an excellent bike. It's not long, it's got a steep headangle, good BB height, and generally rides very fun. It's nothing like current Lawill bikes. Other than the name.
They are very old now. They are very solid (Except the swingarm, which is QR and not that stiff) but you can't get around the fatigue issue..
The shock is the main problem. They come with a Manitou Bazooka, which whilst being pretty crap (But by no means terrible, most of the time i coudlnt notice the differance between it and a Fox RC), is VERY dated. No-one can service them and no-one has parts. If anyone does they won't have them forever.
Due to the fully floating shock design, the Bazooka is the only shock you can fit in the 204 due to it having tiny dimensions. It has a 9" i2i, but the spring and body are very thin. You can't fit the spring over an RC body, which is tiny.
When i had mine i was looking into mounting an avalanche on there by making up a new lower shock mount plate (The shock mounts at the bottom to the swingarm by a plate with the Eyelet bolt hole and 4 M6 bolts into the swingarm) which didn't seem like it would have been too hard, however i never got round to trying it. It didn't seem to hard in theory (The shock MUST have a remote res, NO current piggy back shock will fit) but it was money i didn't want to spend.
For the above reasons, stick with your BB7. They ride better (Not as fun in some situations, but a generally better downhill bike), superior shock which you can also get serviced and replaced, and you can fit other shocks to it if you don't like the 5th (And you have an Avy on yours at the moment anyway, did you get my PM by the way?).
