Pretty old now mate. Discontinued in 1994 iirc.. Unless you are getting it super dooper cheap i would look at something newer.

The 430EX, 550EX or 580EX are the flashes to be looking at at the moment, THIS is a good thread to read for info about flashes

If you want a good flash that doesn't cost the earth, check out the Sigma DG500 Super (Guide number of 50.....duh)

Its basically the equivalent to the Speedlite 580ex with almost identical features! I can tell you places to get it at a good price, but i'm not gonna advertise them on here Tongue

Steer clear of the old ones - get the EX series flashes if you want a Canon one - I wouldn't recommend the Sigma ones - stick with the E-TTL units - I use a 430 EX, but I'm saving up for a hammerhead. If you really want to spend some cash, the Metz hammerhead guns (60 CT 4, for example) are amazing, but you'll need to buy the little Canon E-TTL unit seperately - I don't think they're too expensive, but the gun itself will probably set you back a good
