Windows Movie Maker
« on: March 15, 2006, 19:05:54 PM »

Hello all,

dad took loads of short clips today of me riding, put them onto the computer, and wanted to use windows movie maker to make them one complete movie.

first time i've used movie maker, by the way Smiley

when i go to import all the files into my collection, it says it cannot import the file because remote files using http, ftp or other internet protocols cannot be imported, copy the files onto my local drive to use with windows movie maker.

this is where i get confused, as all the files are already on my local drive!

is there something I should be doing that im not?  they're .avi files if that makes any difference.

cheers, matt

Hope that helps,
Tom.

i think avi is belongs to microsoft anyway, although i wouldn't rely on movie maker too much it is super buggy.

I agree but its all I have lol. Sometimes if im clicking on stuff really fast like to make a video. The WMM sometimes crashes and dosnt let you close it or save your files. Realllllly annoying.
