There are a couple of tracks around taunton but only combe syd has an uplift but it only runs every other sunday and i am not too sure when they start again I think that the service starts at the end of march but i am not to sure chaeck out http://www.exmooradventures.com/ closer to the time to find out if they are running. As for the track it is quite a fun track but for the killer push up it can be a little disapointing as it is quite flat in places but it is probably the best in the southwest. Oh you have to pay

Combe is very different from what you're used to where in scotlad you have... urm... hills! Can you drive? it might be worth you spending an hour on the road going to south wales to the dragon tracks etc. Other than combe you have Haldon near Exeter which is becoming a fun place to ride.

Theres loadz of tracks in the South of Wales that you can ride, theres CwmCarn and then Abercarn next to it, Wentwoods just over the bridge i think (dunno if thats forestry commision or private)!!

Theres a few more but i cant remember which ones they are, but well worth the trek!

Get Google Earth and download that map that someone did with all of the tracks in the UK on.
