More Professional Software ?
« on: March 30, 2006, 17:03:06 PM »

Hi
Just wondering what software you guys would recommend as an upgrade from the Ulead Video Studio 8 that i'm currently using ?
I've made a couple of short movies on this but to be honest i'm finding this software a bit limiting.
I'm looking to make my next movie and would like it to look a lot more professional.

Any suggestions ?

Pinnacle if you can cope with the frequent crashes, Sony Vegas if you dont like Apple, Pemier if you do and Final cut pro if you have money coming out of your ears.

Lol, ok thanks.  Wink

I certainly don't need the latest all singing all dancing bells and whistles jobbie, just a decent upgrade over the sofware i have now.

i'm currently using Pro 7.0 i think. I know the newer ones have had loads of improvements + additions (7.0's about 5 years old now) but its still damn good software and it does everything (bar certain rendering disasters!) i need it to. You can't go wrong with adobe, but be warned; the learning curve is pretty steep and the manual is..... well, enough said......
